ERP Go calculates estimated delivery dates at item level based on stock availability, lead times, and your business calendar. This helps you give customers accurate expectations without manual date entry.
Sales Order Entry
When stock is available
The delivery date is calculated as:
Order Entry Date + Sales Default Lead Time
using the business calendar see guide Working day flags to skip weekends and holidays (coming soon).
If the customer has entered a Requested Delivery Date at the order header, and the calculated date is on or after that, the requested date will be used instead.
If no Sales Default Lead Time is set for the product, the system uses the Requested Delivery Date from the order header.
When stock is not available (Backorder)
The delivery date is calculated as:
Order Entry Date + Purchase Default Lead Time + Sales Default Lead Time
using the business calendar to skip weekends and holidays.
Again, if the customer’s Requested Delivery Date is on or after the calculated date, it will be used instead.
Purchase Order Entry (Back-to-Back or Direct PO)
When a price record exists for the supplier/product
The requested supplier delivery date is calculated as:
Order Entry Date + Lead Time from the Price Record
using the business calendar to skip weekends and holidays.
When no price record exists
The system uses:
Order Entry Date + Purchase Default Lead Time from the product
using the business calendar to skip weekends and holidays.
If no Purchase Default Lead Time is set, the system uses the Requested Delivery Date from the order header.
