How do I delete a shift?

Deleting a shift is just as easy as creating it.

Deleting a shift in the ESHYFT for Facility Managers app:

  1. Log in to the ESHYFT for Facility Manager app and navigate over to the 'SHIFTS' section.

  2. Find the shift you want to delete and click it so that the shift details appear.

  3. If you have confirmed any nurses for this shift, you must cancel them. Cancel a confirmed nurse by selecting 'CANCEL NURSE.' Please note: If you are canceling a nurse within 2 hours of the shift start time, you will be charged for 2 hours of their time at the confirmed rate.

  4. Once you cancel the confirmed nurse, you can select the three-dot icon to the side of the shift details.

  5. Select 'DELETE SHIFT,' and then confirm that you want to delete the shift by selecting 'DELETE.'

Your shift is now deleted!

Deleting a shift in the ESHYFT Facility Manager Web:

  1. Log in to the ESHYFT Facility Manager Web and navigate over to the 'SHIFTS' section.

  2. Find the shift you want to delete and click it so that the shift details appear.

  3. If you have confirmed any nurses for this shift, you must cancel them. Cancel a confirmed nurse by selecting 'CANCEL.' Please note: If you are canceling a nurse within 2 hours of the shift start time, you will be charged for 2 hours of their time at the confirmed rate.

  4. Once you cancel the confirmed nurse, you can select the three-dot icon to the side of the shift details.

  5. Select 'DELETE SHIFT,' and then confirm you want to delete the shift by selecting 'DELETE.'

Your shift is now deleted!
