What Is a Saved Search in Sales Navigator?

A Saved Search is a set of filters you configure in Sales Navigator and store for future use.

For example:

  • Founders in SaaS companies in the US

  • HR Managers in companies with 50–200 employees

  • Marketing Directors in fintech

Instead of rebuilding filters every time, you save the search once. Sales Navigator will then:

  • Continuously update results as new profiles match your filters

  • Allow you to revisit the search anytime

  • Notify you about new leads entering the search

This makes Saved Searches essential for ongoing prospecting.

How to Create a Saved Search in Sales Navigator

Step 1: Apply Your Filters

  1. Go to the Leads tab in Sales Navigator.

  2. Apply your filters on the left panel:

    • Job title

    • Geography

    • Company headcount

    • Industry

    • Any other relevant filters

You will see matching leads appear in the results.

Step 2: Save the Search

At the top of the results page:

  1. Click Saved searches (top navigation bar).

  2. Click Save current search.

Your search is now saved.

You can access it anytime from the Saved searches tab.

Step 3: Reopen a Saved Search

  1. Click Saved searches.

  2. Click View next to the saved search you want to use.

This loads the live, continuously updated results.

Why You Should Use Saved Searches

If you export a static list once, it becomes outdated.

A Saved Search solves this by:

  • Capturing new leads automatically

  • Keeping your targeting consistent

  • Enabling automation workflows

Recurring exports only work with Saved Searches because the system needs a dynamic list that updates over time.

How Recurring Exports Work

Step 1: Export a Saved Search

From Sales Navigator, launch an export from a Saved Search.

You will be redirected to the Evaboot app.

Step 2: Enable Recurring

Inside the app, you will see the option to make the export recurring.

You can schedule it:

  • Daily

  • Weekly

  • Monthly

Important: The schedule becomes active only after the current export is paid for.

If You Skip This Step

If you do not enable recurring during setup, a popup will appear giving you one more chance to activate it.

This popup appears only once per saved search.

Managing Recurring Exports

Once you have at least one active recurring export, a Recurring tab becomes visible in your dashboard.

From this tab, you can:

  • View all active schedules

  • Monitor upcoming runs

  • Delete a recurring export

  • Delete the next scheduled run

Deleting either will stop future automatic runs.

When to Use Recurring Exports

Recurring exports are useful when you:

  • Run continuous outbound campaigns

  • Want new leads added automatically

  • Need fresh data weekly or monthly

  • Monitor a niche or ICP over time

Saved Searches define your targeting.
Recurring exports automate the refresh.
