How to Get Paid on EVEN
To start earning from your releases on EVEN, you'll need to connect a Stripe account. Stripe securely verifies your identity and ensures payouts are transferred directly to your bank account.
Below is everything you need to know based on your role and how payouts work on the platform.
1. For Artists Uploading Releases
You’ll automatically be guided through Stripe onboarding when setting up your artist profile. This creates a Stripe account connected directly to your EVEN profile.
Important: Use the same email address for your EVEN and Stripe accounts to avoid issues down the line.
2. For Collaborators (Producers, Managers, Labels, etc.)
If you’re added to a release with a revenue split, you’ll receive an email prompting you to set up your Stripe account.
📩 Look for: Subject: "Act Now: Secure Your Daily Payouts on EVEN with Stripe!"
Follow the link and complete your Stripe setup before the release goes live to ensure you receive daily payouts. If not completed, your share temporarily goes to the artist until you're fully onboarded.
When Will You Get Paid?
EVEN runs two payout schedules based on your release earnings:
Daily Payouts: If your release earns $25 or more
Weekly Payouts (Thursdays): If your release earns less than $25
💡 Note: Payouts typically take 24–48 hours to process, depending on your bank.
EVEN’s Revenue Share
EVEN takes a 20% revenue share from each sale. This covers all transaction fees for artists and fans, so you keep things simple.
For example:
If your release earns $100, you’ll receive $80 after applying the revenue share.
What You Need for Stripe Onboarding
Before starting the Stripe setup, have this information ready. Stripe requires it for compliance and secure payments:
Legal Name: Must match your government-issued ID
Email Address: If you’re an artist, use the same email you used for your EVEN account
Date of Birth: For age verification and identity checks
Home Address: Required for regulatory purposes
Country of Bank Account: Determines where payouts are processed
Phone Number: Used for account security and two-factor authentication
Accurate information helps avoid delays and ensures fast payouts.

How Revenue Splits Work on EVEN
Splits let you share revenue with your team—whether that’s managers, producers, labels, or other collaborators. Once you assign splits, EVEN handles the rest.
Setting Up Revenue Splits
You can add collaborators and assign their share during your release upload or while the release is still pending approval. Here’s how:
Add their email address
Select their country
Specify their role (e.g., producer, manager)
Set their percentage share
Total splits must equal 100%. Once added, each collaborator will receive an email inviting them to set up their Stripe account.
If they don’t complete onboarding, their share stays in your account until their setup is finished.
Can You Split Revenue Per Track?
Splits can only be set at the album or EP level right now; track-level splits aren’t available yet.
Managing Splits After Upload
You can only edit splits before your release is approved. Once approved, splits are locked.
To adjust:
Go to My Releases in your dashboard
Select the release
Use the Revenue Splits section to update percentages or add new collaborators
Reach out to support to edit splits post-release.
How Record Labels Get Paid
Revenue on EVEN is split into two equal parts:
50% Music Share
50% Access Share
Here’s an example:
If your release earns $1,000:
Music Share: $500
Access Share: $500
If the label holds 20% of the Music Share, they’ll earn $100.
The artist keeps $400 from the Music Share plus the full $500 Access Share—totaling $900.
