How to Get Paid on EVEN
To start receiving payouts for your releases, you’ll need to connect a Stripe account to the EVEN marketplace. This setup verifies your identity and ensures smooth transfers directly to your bank account.
Here’s what to do based on your role:
1. New Artists
When you’re creating your artist profile, you’ll automatically be directed to Stripe’s onboarding process to link your new account with EVEN. Be sure to use the same email address for both your EVEN and Stripe accounts to keep things seamless.
2. Collaborators
If you’re part of a release and have a revenue split, you’ll receive an email with a link to complete Stripe onboarding. Look for an email with the subject "Act Now: Secure Your Daily Payouts on EVEN with Stripe!" and follow the instructions to set up your account. Complete the setup before the release goes live to ensure you’re eligible for daily payouts.
How Often Will I Get Paid?
Daily for releases that have generated over $25 in revenue.
Weekly on Thursdays for releases under $25.
Payouts may take 24–48 hours to process, depending on your bank.
EVEN’s Revenue Share
EVEN takes a 20% revenue share at the time of sale, covering all transaction fees for both fans and artists. For instance, if your release makes $100, you’ll receive a net payout of $80.
Where Can I Get a Stripe Account?
Stripe is available in specific countries. If your country isn’t on the list provided, please reach out to our support team through the chat in the bottom right corner of the screen.
Setting Up Your Stripe Account to Receive Payouts on EVEN
To start earning from your releases, connect a Stripe account to EVEN. Again, Stripe ensures secure, verified payments directly to your bank account. Here’s a step-by-step guide for setting up Stripe, tailored to your role on EVEN:
1. For New Artists
As a reminder, when creating your artist profile on EVEN, you’ll be prompted to connect to Stripe as part of the onboarding process. This will create a new Stripe account linked directly to your EVEN profile. Important: Use the same email address for your Stripe and EVEN accounts for seamless integration.
2. For Collaborators
Again, if you’re part of a release and have a revenue split, the artist will add you as a split recipient, triggering an email invitation to complete your Stripe setup. Look for an email titled "Act Now: Secure Your Daily Payouts on EVEN with Stripe!" sent to the email you provided to the artist. Follow the steps in the email to set up your account.
Complete your setup before the release goes live to avoid delays in receiving daily payouts.

Setting Up Revenue Splits
Add Split Users: Click the plus icon, enter their email, country, role, and percentage.
Complete Setup: Ensure all splits add up to 100%. New users will receive an email to set up their Stripe accounts for payouts.

Can I Set Revenue Splits for Individual Tracks?
Currently, revenue splits are only available at the album or EP level, not for individual tracks.
How to Set Up Revenue Splits for Your Release
Setting up revenue splits on EVEN is simple and keeps your team rewarded transparently. You can set up splits either during the release upload or manage them later if your release is still pending.
Adding Split Users During Release Upload
At the final step of uploading your release, you’ll have the option to add revenue split recipients. Here’s how to do it:

Click the + icon to add a new split user.
Enter their email address or select an existing user from previous releases.
Enter Details
Country: Set the person’s country (this can’t be changed later).
Role: Specify their role (e.g., producer, writer, manager).
Percentage: Assign their earnings percentage.
Ensure Accuracy
Total splits must equal 100%.
Email Notification
New users will receive an email prompt to set up their Stripe account. They need to complete Stripe onboarding before the release goes live. If not, their revenue share will temporarily go to the artist’s account until they’re fully onboarded.
Managing Revenue Splits for an Existing Release
To edit splits on a release that hasn’t yet been approved:
Go to My Releases in your dashboard.
Select the release you want to update.
In the Revenue Splits section on the right, click the three-dot menu to adjust percentages or add new users.
Note: Edits can only be made for pending releases. Once approved, splits are locked.
How Record Labels Get Paid on EVEN
Revenue is split into Music Share and Access Share, each representing 50% of total earnings. Here’s an example:
If a release makes $1,000:
A label with 20% of the Music Share earns $100 (20% of $500).
The artist receives 80% of the Music Share ($400) plus the full Access Share ($500), totaling $900.
This split system ensures fair and clear revenue distribution across your team and partners.
