Procedure:

How to connect your email

Authorize your email

  1. Select Settings from the Menu

  2. Select Personal

  3. Select Email Settings

  4. Select Disconnect Email (to disconnect you from the Event Temple email)

  5. Select My own email provider

  6. Enter your email address

  7. Click Authorize

  8. Sign in using your email Credentials

  9. Select which emails you would like synced (see below for further information on sync settings)

Sync Setting

Once connected, users have the ability to choose which emails they'd like synced into Event Temple

  • Only emails initiated from Event Temple - only replies to emails sent from Event Temple will sync

  • All emails from contacts in Event Temple - any email associated with an Event Temple Contact (whether they are the sender or a recipient) will sync


Additional email settings

Set up your Email Signature

  1. Select Settings from the Menu

  2. Select Personal

  3. Select Email Settings

  4. Select Email Signature

  5. Enter your Signature details

  6. Save

BCC and Forwarding

For emails not connected to Event Temple, there is BCC & Forwarding functionality that allows you to send an email, while simultaneously adding it to Event Temple for proper tracking.

The email will get logged under the most recent Booking associated with the email address associated in the email. If no Booking exists, it will create a new one.

Other Settings

Daily Email Limit - this is how many emails Event Temple can send from the system, per user, per day. We automatically set these limits based on the rules of the email provider you choose.

Track Email Opens - This can also result in spam, so use this feature carefully. If left checked, Event Temple can track when your customers have “read” your emails. This feature isn’t allowed to be used in Europe due to GDPR regulations. If you are a European customer, please leave this unchecked. If emails are tracked it will also prevent contacts from being merged. Tracked emails will need to be deleted in order to merge Contacts with tracked emails.


Important considerations about integrating your email

Depending on your sync settings, emails sent & received from Event Temple will appear in your email account and vise versa - emails sent & received in your email account will appear in Event Temple under the relevant Contact and Booking.
