How the StayNTouch Integration applies to you

Integrating to StaynTouch allows you to share Accounts & easily link Groups from Event Temple to StaynTouch PMS.


Accounts

  • Every time an Account is created on Event Temple it will be created in StayNTouch as a Company or TA Card, as long as the "Create On PMS" checkbox is selected (this is pre-selected by default)

  • If two Accounts are already linked, any updates to that account on Event Temple will get pushed to and saved in StayNTouch and vice versa.

  • Whether an Account in Event Temple is corresponding to a TA CARD or a COMPANY CARD in StayNTouch is determined by the "Is Travel Agent" checkbox within the Account in Event Temple


Contacts

  • There is no Contact Sync between StayNTouch & Event Temple, meaning

    • New Contacts in Event Temple do not sync to StayNTouch

    • New Contacts in StayNTouch do not sync to Event Temple

    • If an existing Contacts information is updated in Event Temple, it does not update in StayNTouch & vise versa

  • When a Group is created on Event Temple, the first name, last name, phone number & email address are copied into the Group Info in StayNTouch.


Room Types

  • When making changes (adding/removing/modifying) a Room Type in StayNTouch, you can resync the Room Types in Event Temple, however, this will automatically occur overnight if it is not done manually.

  • You can check the general availability (not broken by room type) of your hotel from Event Temple > Calendar > GRC & click "Availability"


Groups

  • Every time a Group is created on Event Temple, it will be created in the PMS, as long as the "Create On PMS" checkbox is selected (this is pre-selected by default)

  • Any new Group regardless of Status will be created in StayNTouch, if the above-mentioned checkbox is selected

  • When adding a New Group, you can choose whether to use an existing rate from StayNTouch, or create a Custom Rate in Event Temple,

  • You can link an existing Group from StayNTouch to Event Temple

  • When searching for an existing Group to link in Event Temple, the name must be exactly as it appears in StayNTouch

  • If you have multiple Groups in StayNTouch with the same name it is recommended that these are updated to have different names to avoid confusion when linking them in Event Temple.

  • If two Groups are already linked, any updates to that Group on Event Temple will get pushed to and saved in the PMS.

  • If pickup is updated in StayNtouch, it will be updated in Event Temple.

  • Marking a Booking or Group on Event Temple as lost will cancel the group in StayNTouch

  • Shoulder dates in StayNTouch are not currently integrated to Event Temple


Posting Charges

  • Select Menu Items in a Booking & send them to StayNTouch to be invoiced

  • Menu Items can only be posted to StayNTouch when if there is a Posting Account linked to the Booking. A Posting Account is the House or Group account in StayNTouch where the charges will reside.

  • Once a Menu Item has been posted, it can no longer be edited in Event Temple


Payments

  • Payments do not currently sync to/from StayNTouch
