With the release of the new Observations page, users now have a consolidated place to view not only their own observations but any observations made on their people.

Found in the left navigation menu (under Observations) the new page is broken down into two distinct features. Firstly and most commonly this page can be used by someone to view any of three different filtered observation lists.

Firstly, any observations you have received. This list will include any and all observations you have received, either in app or through external feedback requests.

Sent: This is a collection of all observations you have sent, useful to keep track of feedback you have given in the past or to refresh yourself on the past week, month or quarter.

My People: The My People filter will provide you with the list of observations any of your reportees have received, giving you a consolidated view of any and all feedback provided to them.

The last filter available on the page is to limit any observations shown to those that you did NOT make. This can be extremely helpful when learning how others view your subordinates or even yourself. Due to how feedback requests work in Everperform you will commonly have far more self observations than provided from others. This toggle will help you cut through this and gain greater insight into others thoughts.

The Second Distinct feature this new page provides is to do with Providing feedback through observations.

Until now, observations have needed to be either against a subordinate (whom you could view in the Everperform Application) or when request to provide feedback through a Pulse. Using the Observations page and selecting the New Observation observation button, you can now provide ad-hoc observations to any user at any time.

Simply Find the user you wish to provide feedback too, then select one of the options from the Subject dropdown. Finally create the observation, if you wish to attach any supporting material you can also do this here. Once finished select create and you have provided ad-hoc feedback to a colleague, manager or subordinate.
