Add and remove users from a pulse

Add and remove users from a pulse

When people take extended leave, it's a good idea to remove them from regular pulses.

Note: If you run pulses on a four-week cycle, you will need to add or remove the user from all four pulse templates.

To remove someone from a pulse

  1. Go to Pulses > Templates

  2. Click on the regular pulse template that you wish to remove the user from

  3. Click the Edit button on the right hand side of the screen

  4. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click Next until you get to the People tab

  5. Click on the button Organisation and select People

  6. Under the heading Selected raters, scroll through until you find the name of the person you wish to remove, then click on their name. Their name will disappear from the Selected raters column and reappear in the Available raters column.

  7. At the bottom of the page, click Update survey details.

To add someone to a pulse

  1. Go to Pulses > Templates

  2. Click on the regular pulse template that you wish to remove the user from

  3. Click the Edit button on the right hand side of the screen

  4. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click Next until you get to the People tab

  5. Click on the button Organisation and select People

  6. Under the heading Available raters, scroll through until you find the name of the person you wish to remove, then click on their name. Their name will disappear from the Available raters column and reappear in the Selected raters column.

  7. At the bottom of the page, click Update survey details.
