How to Automatically Add Events to a Shopify Collection Using Events Collection in Evey

Updated this week

You can automatically organize and display events in a specific Shopify collection using the Events Collection feature in Evey Events & Tickets (Evey). This lets you auto-update your storefront every time a new event is created, saving time and improving customer experience.

Access the Events Collection Settings

  1. Click Settings at the top of the Evey dashboard.

  2. Then, go to "Storefront integrations."

  3. Next, click "Events Collection."

  4. You can pick the collection you've set for your events from here.

After picking the collection page you want to use, you can choose which events will be automatically added to this collection by using the filter options and how to display the events by using sorting options.

Filter Options

You may use the filters to add specific events to the collection. By default, the collection will add all Evey events if there is no filter applied.

  • Events - allows you to input a keyword and find all events with that keyword in the event title

  • Tagged with - lets you filter the events using event product tags

  • Publish status - filters events by their status in the event settings ("Active" or "Draft")

Sorting Options

You can choose how to display or arrange the events by using the sorting options.

  • Newest Start Date

  • Oldest Start Date

  • High Number

  • Low Number

  • Title: A-Z

  • Title: Z-A

When you are done choosing your settings, just click Save, and you're good to go!

What are the benefits of using the Events Collection for you?

  • Time-Saving Automation: Your store updates automatically whenever new events are added, reducing manual work.

  • Improved Customer Experience: Customers can easily browse and join upcoming events thanks to sorting and filtering options.
