If you want your customers to visit something simple like /events and automatically be redirected to your Evey calendar page, you can set this up directly inside Shopify. This is a quick workaround you can do yourself!
Follow the steps below:
Step 1: Go to Your Shopify URL Redirects
From your Shopify admin, look at the left-hand menu.
Click Content.
Select Navigation (or Menus, depending on your theme).
In the top-right corner, click URL redirects.
Step 2: Create a New Redirect
Click Create URL redirect.
In the Redirect from field, enter the URL customers will visit.
Example:/events
This is typically what you're printing on materials or sharing publicly.
In the Redirect to field, paste the direct link to your Evey Events Calendar.
Example:https://yourstore.com/apps/evey-events/calendar
Click Save.
Step 3: Test the Redirect
Open your storefront in a new tab.
Visit your redirect URL:
yourstore.com/events
You should be instantly redirected to your Evey calendar page.
