How to Add Evey’s Event List, Event Showcase, or Events Blocks to Your Shopify Storefront

Updated over a week ago

Note: These features require a theme that supports Online Store 2.0.

Evey now offers three powerful app blocks you can add directly to your storefront pages:

Event List – A combined layout that includes search, filtering, and a dated sidebar

(Perfect for simple, scrollable event listings)

Event Showcase – a modern, 3-wide “card grid” layout

(Looks more visual and Web3-style)

Events – a vertically stacked, traditional list view

Event List and Event Showcase come with one major benefit: Built-in “All Dates” preset filter

This automatically lets your customers view events by month or across all dates - without any custom code.

How to Add Any Evey Event Block to Your Storefront

  1. In Shopify, go to Online Store > Themes and click Customize on the theme you’re editing.

  2. Navigate to the page where you want the event block to appear (e.g., Home page, Events page, or a custom page).

  3. On the left panel, click Add block.

  4. Scroll down to the Evey Events & Tickets section.

  5. Choose one of the available blocks:

1. Event List Block

A clean, vertical list layout — great for stores who want a simple scrollable list.

Features

  • Vertical layout

  • Search bar included

  • “All dates” preset filter

  • Great for long lists or mobile-first layouts

2. Event Showcase Block

A 3-wide visual grid that displays events like clickable cards.

  • Modern, card-style layout

  • Automatically adjusts to create a 3-wide grid

  • Ideal for visual brands or stores with large images

  • Includes the “All dates” filter option

3. Events Block

A hybrid block that includes search, month selection, and a refined list view.

  • Clean, upgraded event list layout

  • Built-in search field

  • Great for stores hosting many events with different days and times

After Adding the Block

With the block selected, you can customize:

  • Layout style

Then click Save.

Once published, your customers can:

  • Browse events directly from your storefront

  • Filter by date (including “All Dates”)

  • Use search to find specific events

  • Click into event detail pages to purchase tickets.
