Time Slots to Your Recurring Event
Time Slots to Your Recurring Event
Updated over 2 weeks ago

Evey Events & Tickets offers a useful feature called the Recurring Event feature, which enables merchants to schedule events to run over multiple days. However, there are instances where there are timeslots for each day of the recurring event. In this article, we will be showing you how you can add timeslots for each day.

To add timeslots to your recurring event, follow these steps:

1. After setting up your recurring event, access the calendar view. Simply click on the specific date on the calendar where you want to add a timeslot.

  • For the purpose of this guide, let's assume your recurring event runs daily. Let's take an example of three daily time slots: 12 PM - 3 PM, 3 PM - 6 PM, and 6 PM - 9 PM. Begin by setting your first time slot.

2. Click on the first day of the event.

3. Assuming your event is a weekly occurrence, select June 11 as the starting date.

4. Configure the timeslot on June 11 and set it to repeat every seven days. By doing so, the timeslot will automatically repeat every Sunday until August 27, adhering to the weekly schedule of your event.

Following these steps will allow you to effortlessly add and manage timeslots for your recurring event, ensuring accurate scheduling and a smooth experience for event participants.

To do this on the event dashboard, you can follow these steps:

  1. Click on "Event settings" from the Evey dashboard.

  2. On the "Event settings" page, navigate to the "Event" tab.

Scroll down to the calendar and double-click on June 1.

4. Once you double-click on the date, a box will appear for setting the first timeslot (e.g., 12 PM - 3 PM).

Set up the first timeslot (e.g., 12 PM–3 PM):

  • Change Don’t repeat to Repeat every 7 days.

  • Configure the start date (June 1) and end date (August 31, 2025).

  • Specify the start time (12 PM) and end time (3 PM).

  • Ensure All day is unchecked.

Choose ticket availability:

  • Check All ticket types can be purchased for these events if all tickets are available for this timeslot.

  • Uncheck it to select specific ticket types.

Click "Save" to confirm and view the timeslot on the calendar.

Repeat steps 3–6 for additional timeslots (e.g., 3 PM–6 PM and 6 PM–9 PM). Save each timeslot individually.

How This Appears on the Product Page

On your product page, attendees will see a Choose a date and time button to select their preferred event date and timeslot.

When attendees click this button, a calendar will display the available dates and times.

  • Inventory settings will show the remaining tickets for each time slot.

  • A sold-out timeslot will display a notification and a red dot on the calendar.
