There may be situations where canceling a check-in becomes necessary, whether it's due to an error in checking in the wrong ticket or an attendee accidentally presenting a ticket intended for a friend.
Yes, the ability to cancel a check-in is available, and to utilize this feature, you'll first need to enable it.
Here's a step-by-step guide on how to allow your employee to cancel a check-in:
1. To enable this feature, you will need to go to the event and click on "Event settings."
2. On the "Event Settings" page, click on the "Check-In" tab.
3. Now scroll down to each ticket type and enable “Allow check-in user to cancel /undo a previous check-in.”
4. Once you have done this on all the ticket types, hit "Save."
This is how it will look like:
Before your employee checks in as an attendee, they will see the button in Green saying "Check-in."
Once they have checked in the attendee, this will change to Red and will give them the option to "Cancel check-in."
Once they click on "Cancel Check-in," they will see a notification saying check-in was canceled and it will go back to Green giving them the option to check the customer in.
