Limiting Attendee Check-in

One feature of Evey Events that you might find particularly useful is the ability to limit attendee check-in. This feature is especially handy if you have a maximum capacity for your event, or if you need to ensure that only registered attendees are allowed to enter.

Here's how to set up the attendee check-in limit using Evey Events:

1. Log in to your Shopify account and navigate to the Evey Events app.

2. Select the "Events" that you want to configure.




3. Click on "Event Settings".




4. Choose "Check-in".

Scroll down to "Ticket Type Settings". You can put a limit on the "Check-in limit" in the box.



Please note, this is the maximum number of check-ins allowed for each attendee. After this limit is reached and the ticket is scanned again, the check-in interface will clearly show the user that the attendee has reached their limit. This is great for events that have ticket types that allow multiple entrances to a long-running event (such as a theme park or museum).

6. Do not forget to hit on "Save".


Once you've set a check-in limit, Evey Events will automatically prevent additional attendees from checking in once the limit has been reached. You can also monitor the check-in process in real-time through the app, allowing you to track how many attendees have checked in and how many spots are still available.
