In Evey Events & Tickets, you’ll see two metrics when managing check-ins: Attendees Currently and Have Checked-In. Understanding the difference between them helps you monitor attendance in real time and track event performance accurately.
Attendees Currently
This shows the current number of attendees who are checked in at the moment. It reflects only those who are still inside the venue.
For example:
If someone checks in and then checks out (if your event allows re-entry), they’re no longer counted in “Attendees Currently.”
This number is useful for real-time crowd control, venue capacity, and safety regulations (like fire codes or COVID limits).
Have Checked-In
This number reflects the total number of tickets that have been checked in at any point, regardless of whether the attendee is still at the event or not.
For example:
If someone checks in, then leaves, they’ll still count toward “Have Checked-In.”
This gives you a historical view of attendance for reporting and analytics.
Why This Matters
Understanding the difference allows you to:
Monitor current occupancy
Track overall attendance trends
Make informed decisions about staffing, logistics, and safety
Whether you're organizing a concert, conference, or festival, these tools help keep things running smoothly and professionally.
