The Shopify storefront product page allows only one variant (or ticket type) to be selected at a time to add to their cart, requiring customers to spend more time choosing and adding items to their cart if you have an event where usually multiple tickets are purchased together (for example museums and tours where you get entire families buying together).
Fortunately, we've got a way to streamline this for your customers; the multi-ticket selector is an app block from Evey, available in your theme editor that will add a list of variants (ticket types) and quantity selectors that your customers can use to add multiple tickets to their cart at the same time.
Note: Your theme must be an Online Store 2.0 compatible theme to use app blocks.
Add the multi-ticket selector app block to your theme
In your Shopify dashboard, open your theme editor by going to Online Store -> Themes and hitting the Customize button
In the theme editor, go to your product page template using the template type dropdown at the top.
Now add the "Multi-ticket selector" app block by hitting the Add block button under the "Product information" section, and drag this block under the product title (or wherever you'd like it to appear).
Note:The multi-ticket options will appear whenever the product is an event linked in the Evey Events app; it will not appear if the product is not an event. It will remove the single variant options, quantity selectors, and Buy Now buttons only if the product is an event.
Customizing the multi-ticket selector
You can configure whether service fees are displayed and some color options by selecting the block; the settings will appear on the right side of the page:
