Ticket Link or Event Calendar Page Shows “Page Can’t Be Found"

Updated yesterday

If your event ticket links or event calendar page are showing a “Page can’t be found” (404) error, don’t worry - this is usually caused by a small setting in your Shopify App Proxy URL.

This guide will walk you through how to fix it.

Why This Happens

Evey uses Shopify’s App Proxy to display event pages (like your event calendar and ticket links).
If the proxy URL is changed from events to something else (like workshops), your event links and calendar page will no longer load properly - resulting in a 404 error.

How to Fix It

  1. In your Shopify admin, go to Settings → Apps and sales channels.

  2. Select Evey Events & Tickets,

  3. Scroll down to the App Proxy URL section.

  4. Check the ending of your proxy URL - if it says something other than /events, update it.

    • Example: Change /apps/workshops/apps/events

  5. Click Save changes.

  6. Once saved, go back to your storefront and test:

    • Your Event Calendar page

    • Your ticket links in order confirmation or notification emails

They should now open correctly!
