How to Create a Custom Event Product Page in Shopify

By default, events created with Evey Events & Tickets use your store’s standard product page layout. But what if you want to give your event a unique vibe, like a totally different layout, color scheme, or content, without changing your entire store's product design?

Good news: you can create a custom product page template in Shopify just for your event.


When to Use a Custom Event Page

You should consider this option if:

  • You want your event to stand out with a special look.

  • You don’t want to affect the design of your regular product pages.

  • You’re running themed events, seasonal promotions, or branded experiences.


How to Set It Up

  1. First, create your event as usual using the Evey Events & Tickets app.

  2. Navigate to Online Store > Themes. Then, click "Edit Theme" on your current theme.

  3. In the theme editor, click the top dropdown and choose Products > Create template.

    • Give it a name like event-template.

    • This creates a new layout you can customize specifically for your event.

  4. Edit the sections, add event-specific imagery, videos, countdown timers, or FAQs. Highlight event details like date, time, location, or speaker lineups.

  5. Once you're satisfied, save your changes.

  6. Now, go to Products in your Shopify admin and click on the product linked to your Evey event.

  7. In the Theme Template section, select your new event-template.

  8. Don't forget to save.

And that’s it! Your event now has a custom page that won’t affect any of your other product listings.
