📋 Note: ReEngage is now Exerta. We're still using the ReEngage name in our code, URLs, and dashboard while we finish updating everything, so all the snippets below still say "ReEngage." Nothing to change on your end.
RedTrack is an ad tracker used to track and optimize Facebook (Meta) ad campaigns. This guide walks you through connecting it to Exerta.
💡 Why use this?
Connecting RedTrack to Exerta lets your Facebook clicks and conversions get tracked on both platforms, so you can see exactly which campaigns and creatives are actually driving results.
It's also helpful to set up because:
It measures agent performance revenue-wise, so our team can suggest and implement improvements for your agents along the way
It helps the AI learn which comments and DMs are driving sales, so it can double down on what works
✅ Before you start
A few things to have ready before you begin:
RedTrack access: You need permission to create or edit traffic channels and campaigns in your RedTrack account
Admin access to your Exerta dashboard: You'll need this to get the postback link in Step 1
Check which sub parameters are already in use: If your Meta traffic channel in RedTrack already has other parameters set up, check which sub parameters are taken before you get to Step 2. That way you're not stuck picking one, saving, and finding out it collided with something else already using it.
🔧 How to set it up
Step 1: Get your Exerta postback link
Go to reengage.ai/dashboard/setup
Click Other Platform
Copy the Reporting Link
This link is unique to your account. You'll swap out a few placeholders in it in Step 2, so keep it handy.
Step 2: Set up a Meta traffic channel and campaign in RedTrack
Add the Exerta Id parameter to your traffic channel
In RedTrack, create a traffic channel from the Meta (ex Facebook) template, or open an existing one
Scroll down and add a new parameter with these settings:
Name: Reengage Id
Parameter: reid
Placeholder or Value: {reid}
📋 Note: If you're using the default RedTrack template for Facebook, the first empty parameter is usually sub12. If that one's already in use, pick any available sub parameter instead. Whichever one you choose, remember it - you'll need it in the next step. This guide uses sub12 as an example.
Add the Exerta postback URL to your campaign
In your RedTrack campaign form, select Meta as the Traffic channel and fill in the rest of the form
Scroll to S2S Postback for Meta (ex Facebook) and click Add
Paste the Exerta postback link you copied in Step 1
Replace the Exerta placeholders in the link with the matching RedTrack ones:
{replace_click_id}→{sub12}(or whichever sub parameter you chose above){replace_conversion_value}→{offer_payout}Remove the currency parameter entirely. RedTrack doesn't use a currency macro, so there's nothing to map it to
Save the campaign
⚠️ Important: The sub parameter in your postback URL must be the same one you set on the Exerta Id parameter in the step above. If they don't match, Exerta can't link a conversion back to the click that generated it.
Get your RedTrack Campaign URL
After saving the campaign, copy the Campaign URL
You'll paste this into Exerta in Step 3.
Step 3: Set your Exerta offer target URL
Go to reengage.ai/meta/offers
Open the offer you're setting up, or create a new one
Paste the RedTrack Campaign URL from Step 2 into the Target Url field
Save the offer
You're done when: your offer routes through RedTrack before landing on Exerta, so every click and conversion gets tracked on both platforms.
❓ FAQs
🔍 Q: Where do I find my Exerta postback link?
A: Go to reengage.ai/dashboard/setup and click Other Platform, then copy the Reporting Link. This link is unique to your account.
📋 Q: Which RedTrack sub parameter should I use for the Exerta Id parameter?
A: If you're on the default RedTrack template for Facebook, sub12 is usually the first one open. If it's already taken, use any other available sub parameter. Just make sure the sub parameter in your postback URL matches the one you set on the Exerta Id parameter.
🔍 Q: What do I need to change before pasting the postback link into RedTrack?
A: Replace the Exerta placeholders with RedTrack's: {replace_click_id} becomes your chosen sub parameter (like {sub12}), and {replace_conversion_value} becomes {offer_payout}. Remove the currency placeholder entirely instead of mapping it to something, since RedTrack doesn't have a currency macro.
⚠️ Q: I'm not seeing conversions come through in Exerta. What should I check?
A: Check two things first. Does the sub parameter in your RedTrack S2S postback match the sub parameter on your Exerta Id parameter? And is your Exerta offer's Target Url set to the RedTrack Campaign URL, not a raw Facebook link? If both check out and conversions still aren't showing up, contact support.
📋 Q: Can I use the same RedTrack traffic channel for traffic other than Exerta?
A: This guide assumes a dedicated Meta traffic channel for Exerta traffic. If you mix other traffic into the same channel, make sure the Exerta Id parameter and postback stay limited to campaigns actually running through Exerta, so unrelated clicks don't get tagged with a reid.
