How to book an activation for a venue as a brand user

To learn how to book for many venues in one go, read this article.

  1. Find the venue on the venue list

1) Sign in to your brand account and go Book on the menu to view the venue list
2) Search for the venue in the search bar - we recommend searching by ID instead of name
3) If the venue is signed up already, there will be a green email icon next to it. If it shows a red email icon, it means we do not have an email address for the venue. You can either add that here, or view the marketplace and complete the details at checkout. Read more about this here.

4) Click 'Book' to go to marketplace.

2. Browse the marketplace for the right activations & use the profile to sell-in the activation to the venue

3. Add to basket

The process to add to basket will vary depending on the type of experience:

  1. Fixed Dates (POS Kits with a fixed implementation period) - see here

  2. Events (Specific dates and time slots) - see here

  3. Flexible (where you have flexibility to choose dates) - see here

Important Note: Apart from event dates - these are not guaranteed. Please make sure your venue knows this. This is just a guideline on ideal delivery date and is likely to change based on journey planning. The venue will receive a confirmation email with any changes.

4. Booking form

If there is a booking form you need to complete - see completion guidance here

These are typically just for the higher value activations and provide your forecast and rationale for the booking.

5. Review basket & Payment Options

This vary depending on the settings, see here.

6. Checkout Contact Details & Address

When you checkout, it's critical for a smooth event/delivery to check we have the right contact and address information.

Any known information will already be populated (such as previously added contact info or addresses from the masterfile). Anything missing will be highlighted with an error message.

Please check they are correct and fill in any missing information.

Change contact

If you wish to change the contact, click the email drop down.

Here you will find any other team members added into the venue account. You can select one and fill out any missing info OR add a new team member.

The contact here will receive the confirmation email and any comms about the booking.

*Newly added team members will be sent a sign up email.

Change address

If you wish to change the delivery address, click the address field.

Here you will find any other addresses associated with the venue account. You can select one and fill out any missing info OR add a new address.

The address used here will be sent with the booking details.
