How Does the Extern Subscription Work, Including Billing, Trials, and Access to Externships?

Overview of Subscription Options
Extern provides multiple subscription plans to suit different needs. These include monthly subscriptions and bundled plans. Bundled plans are billed upfront, while the monthly subscription is charged on a recurring monthly basis.
Billing Methods and Policies
Monthly Subscription: Billed on a recurring monthly basis. These can be canceled at any time without additional charges.
Bundle Plans: Charged upfront in full at the time of purchase. Prepaid plans cannot be canceled on a month-to-month basis.
Free Trial: The free trial lasts 7 days, and a credit or debit card is required to start it. If you cancel before the trial ends, you won't be charged. If you don't cancel, your subscription is automatically charged for the plan you selected when the trial ends. Bundle plans, such as the annual plan, are charged in full upfront.
Refunds: If you cancel within 48 hours of a new pay period starting, you're eligible for a full refund of that charge, no questions asked.
Access to Externships and Projects
Once you start a subscription, you can enroll in any externship available in the catalog. To continue progressing through an externship or retain access to projects, you must maintain an active, paid subscription. Access to projects and externships is available as long as your subscription remains active.
