How to publish away tickets
Once you've created your fixture and set up your away allocation, follow these steps to publish the tickets:
Go to Schedule > Fixtures in your Fanbase admin dashboard.
Open your fixture and select Manage > Publish away tickets.
Select the correct away ticket allocation.
Toggle on Send to opposition and enter the email address of your opposition contact.
Select Publish.
Once published, the following will happen:
Email to the opposition: An email is automatically sent with the fixture information and ticket-sharing link.
Opposition club page: If the opposition is a Fanbase partner, the fixture will also appear on their club page.
Home and away ticket options: Supporters will see separate Home and Away tabs during the ticket purchasing process.
Frequently asked questions
What if I don't use allocations for away supporters?
You can still use Publish away tickets to send the fixture information and ticket link to your opposition by email.
Why is Publish away tickets greyed out?
You can only publish away tickets when your fixture is On Sale. If your fixture isn't on sale yet, this option won't be available. Make sure your fixture is on sale before trying to publish your away tickets.
How do I link the correct opposition club to my fixture?
When creating your fixture, you can link the opposition to a recognised club in Fanbase instead of simply typing their name.
Go to Schedule > Fixtures.
Create a new fixture or open the fixture you want to edit.
Start typing the opposition club's name and select the correct team from the list.
If you've selected the competition first, the search can help identify the correct opposition for league fixtures.
Complete the remaining fixture details and save.
Top tip : For league fixtures, select the competition before searching for the opposition. This can help you find the correct club more easily.
What if the opposition club isn't listed?
You can still set up fixtures for cups, friendlies, events or clubs that aren't currently listed. Simply select Create new team and enter the name of your opposition.
What types of clubs are available in Fanbase?
There are two types of clubs:
Fanbase clubs: These are Fanbase partners and are visible across the platform.
External clubs: These are reference clubs used to identify opposition teams. They are hidden from club lists, sign-up, reports and the Fan App, and fans cannot follow them.
