When setting up promo codes it is possible to apply them directly to categories and ticket types. Here's how;

1. Once you have filled in the prior fields select 'Apply code to specific products'.

2. Select 'Which products can this promo code be redeemed against?' for example, standard tickets, hospitality etc.

3. Then, a dropdown will appear named 'Tickets that this promo code can be redeemed against', this is where you select the specific section etc that the promo code will be applicable to.
