How to edit an order or reservation

Updated over a month ago

With our latest release, you now have greater control over orders placed through Fanbase, allowing you to edit recipient details after an order has been confirmed.

This effectively moves tickets from one Fanbase account to another. A common use case is when a fan has used the wrong email address or entered it incorrectly when placing an order.

Steps to Edit an Order

  1. Go to the ‘Orders’ Page

    • Navigate to the Orders section using the menu on the left-hand side of the Fanbase portal.

  2. Find the Order

    • Use the search bar at the top of the table to find the order by:

      • Order number

      • Email address

      • Name

  3. View the Order

    • Once you have found the order, click ‘View’ on the right-hand side.

    • A modal pop-up with order details will appear.

  4. Edit Recipient Details

    • Click the pencil icon next to editable elements (Recipient & Hospitality Requirements).

    • Confirm your changes.

  5. Review the Updated Order

    • The order notes at the bottom will show a history of changes made.

    • If you have changed the recipient, it is recommended to resend the order confirmation.

  6. Resend Order Confirmation

    • Click ‘Manage Order’ at the top right.

    • Select ‘Resend Confirmation’ from the dropdown menu.

How to Edit a Reservation

You also have greater control over reservations, allowing you to edit recipient details and elements like hospitality questions before taking payment and completing the order.

Steps to Edit a Reservation

  1. Go to the ‘Orders’ Page

    • Navigate to the Orders section on the left-hand side of the Fanbase portal.

    • Click on the ‘Reservations’ tab.

  2. Find the Reservation

    • Use the filters at the top of the table or search by name or email address.

  3. View the Reservation

    • Click ‘View’ on the right-hand side.

    • A modal pop-up with reservation details will appear.

  4. Edit the Reservation

    • Click the pencil icon next to editable elements (Recipient & Hospitality Requirements).

    • Since this is still in reservation status, you can also change ticket types before processing the order.

  5. Review the Updated Reservation

    • The order notes at the bottom will show a history of all changes made.

    • If you have changed the recipient, it is recommended to resend the order confirmation email.

  6. Resend Order Confirmation

    • Click ‘Manage Order’ at the top right.

    • Select ‘Resend Confirmation’ from the dropdown menu.

This gives you full flexibility to correct and update orders before they are finalized. ✅
