🐰Why do I get a "Sold out" or "Out of stock" message at checkout for a bundle as a product that all of its items are in stock and can be bought individually?

When you make a bundle as a product with the Multi or Cart Transform BAP,


You may receive some complaints from customers that they receive a "Sold out" or "Out of stock" message in the checkout while the bundle as product items have been normally added to the cart and are all available in sufficient quantity.


In the bundle product page or bundle widget, you will see the "Sold-out" badge even if all the included items of the bundle are available.

The reason is that these BAP types create a dummy product for the bundle. If you’ve accidentally enabled the option below in the dummy product’s settings in Shopify, this issue can occur.


Please note that for bundle types using Multi BAP or Cart Transform, the inventory of the individual products included in the bundle will be tracked—not the dummy product that is automatically created for the bundle.
Therefore, it's important to ensure the dummy product’s settings in Shopify are configured correctly, as shown in the image below:
