Archive a Client

How to archive your clients along with their cases or not.

Archiving a client removes them from your active list without deleting any data.
You can still view and reactivate them later if needed.

This helps keep your workspace clean while saving important records for legal or future use.

How to Archive a Client:

  1. Go to the Client List and open the client you want to archive.

  2. Click the More Options icon (⋮) and select Archive.

  3. If the client is the primary client in any cases, you’ll see a list of related cases.

    • ✅ Tick the box to archive those cases too.

    • ❌ Untick if you want to keep the cases active or not affected by your action.
      Then click Archive Client button.

  4. Once archived:

    • The client’s avatar turns gray.

    • Status updates to Archived.

    • They move to the bottom of the client list and no longer appear in the active list.

    • You can still search them by name or case ID.

By archiving a client, you keep your workspace organized without losing access to important client or case information. It’s a smart way to stay focused on what matters now, while keeping past records safe and searchable.
