So many "How to" things are done here

Summary

Many of the following steps guide you to check the select all box to the left of the Status column header. When you do this the forward/back buttons in the upper right of the browser disappear. To bring them back so you can go to the next page, clear the select all box.

How to recover deleted Work Orders

  1. Click Work Orders next to the folder in the top-left corner

  2. Click Archived

  3. Filter dates, customer name, etc.

  4. Find the Work Order

  5. Click Actions on the right side of the row for your specific Work Order

  6. Click Restore

  7. Repeat steps 5, 6, 7 to restore other Work Orders

How to bulk move Work Orders to another day or route

How to get a service history for one location over several dates

  1. Filter the From and To dates

  2. Filter the Customer Name

  3. Filter the Location Name

  4. Click Filter

  5. Check the select all box to the left of the Status column header

  6. Click Print Completed

How to search Work Orders by line items

  1. Filter the From and To dates

  2. Click Choose Service type...

  3. Select the type

  4. Click Filter

How to view Type categories (Service, Material, Other, Fee)

  1. Filter the start/end date, etc., in the left panel.

  2. Click Filter

  3. Click the down arrow to the right of the Create Invoice button

  4. Export the list

  5. Open the CSV file in a spreadsheet program

  6. Column B has the invoice number, column AH has the line item type

How to print the work pool list

  1. Filter Status: Work Pool

  2. Click Filter

  3. Click the down arrow to the right of the New Work Order button

  4. Click Export

  5. Click Export

  6. Open your email and the CSV file will be in there

  7. Print it from there.

How to restore a cancelled service

  1. Filter the From and To dates

  2. Filter Status: Cancelled

  3. Click Filter

  4. Find and open the work order to change the status from cancelled to scheduled

Note If it's a series you'll need to re-create the series.

  1. Open the Work Order

  2. Click Edit Series just above and to the right of it

  3. Reconfigure the series from the Schedule tab 

  4. Click the Update Series button

How to export Work Orders to keep as a backup

  1. Click the down arrow next to the Create Payment button

  2. Click Export

  3. The Payment list in CSV format will be sent to your email address

  4. Click Export

  5. Open the email and save the CSV file to your backup location.

How to view all services overdue or missed

  1. Filter the From and To dates

  2. Filter Status: Incomplete

How to find all the termite renewals coming up

  1. Filter the From and To dates

  2. Filter Service Type: <termite related service>

  3. Click Filter

How to see open and closed Work Orders for one account

  1. Filter the From and To dates

  2. Filter the Customer Name

  3. Click the Status column header to sort

How to send a customer all their services for the year 

  1. Filter the From and To dates (From date is Jan 1 <this year>)

  2. Filter the Customer Name

  3. Status filter = Complete

  4. Click Filter

  5. Check the select all box to the left of the Status column header

  6. Click Print Completed or click Email Completed

How to get to a specific page in Sales > Work Orders

For example, I have 150 pages and I want to be at around page 40. What's the fastest way to get there aside from clicking the next button 40 times.

Copy the following line in your address bar and change the 2 to the number where you'll want or where you think you'll want to be.

How to see Work Orders generated today

  1. Click Work Orders in the upper-left corner

  2. Click Today (or this week, or this month)

How to mark multiple Work Orders as Complete

  1. Filter the From and To dates

  2. Status filter = Incomplete

  3. Click Filter

  4. Click the Work Orders you want to mark as Complete

  5. Click the Mark as Complete button

How to mark multiple Work Orders as Scheduled

  1. Filter the From and To dates

  2. Filter the Status to the status you want to update

  3. Click Filter

  4. Click the Work Orders you want to mark as Scheduled

  5. Click the Mark as Scheduled button
    Note Work Orders that are updated from Complete to Scheduled will not generate a new invoice if that Work Order is updated back to Complete

How to bulk move Work Orders to the Work Pool

  1. Filter the From and To dates

  2. Filter the Status to Scheduled

  3. Click Filter

  4. Click the Work Orders you want to move to the Work Pool

  5. Click the Move to Work Pool button

How to bulk move Work Orders from the Work Pool

  1. Filter the From and To dates

  2. Filter the Work Pool to Yes

  3. Click Filter

  4. Click the Work Orders you want to Schedule

  5. Click the Mark as Scheduled button

How to print multiple completed Work Orders

  1. Filter the From and To dates

  2. Filter the Status to Complete

  3. Click Filter

  4. Click the Work Orders you want to print

  5. Click the Print Completed button

How to email multiple completed Work Orders

  1. Filter the From and To dates

  2. Filter the Status to Complete

  3. Click Filter

  4. Click the Work Orders you want to email

  5. Click the Email Completed button
