Can I Pause My Fieldy Subscription?

Fieldy subscriptions are designed for uninterrupted access to your account. However, there may be situations where users want to pause their subscription temporarily, such as when a device is lost, damaged, or cannot be used. Below we outline Fieldy's policies and the available alternatives.
Fieldy subscriptions are tied to the platform through which they were purchased, such as Google Play or the Apple App Store. If you are switching platforms, you will need to cancel your current subscription and purchase a new one on the new platform.
Policy on Pausing Fieldy Subscriptions
Fieldy subscriptions cannot be paused under any circumstances. Whether you are using a monthly or yearly plan, the subscription will remain active unless canceled.

Apple
On your iPhone device, go to your Settings app > [your name] > Subscriptions.
To manage a subscription, tap it and select the desired action.
To cancel, tap Cancel Subscription or Cancel All Services.

You can view and manage your app subscriptions through the Google Play app.
On your Android device, go to Google Play and tap your account in the top right.
Select "Payments and subscriptions".
Select the subscription you want to cancel.
Tap Cancel subscription.
Follow the instructions. To change your subscription plan (e.g., from monthly to yearly), follow these steps:
Open the Google Play Store app.
Tap your profile icon in the top-right corner.
Navigate to Payments & subscriptions.
Select Subscriptions.
Choose your Fieldy subscription.
Follow the prompts to change your plan.

You can view your subscription details anytime by accessing it through the link sent to your email used for its purchase.
Simply search for the relevant email by entering keywords, for example, "Compass X subscription"/"Fieldy X subscription" into your email search bar.
View the email and click "View subscription":
This will take you to your subscription page. Here you can view your personal and subscription information, see your billing schedule, edit your payment details or cancel the subscription.
Additional Options: Goodwill Credits
Fieldy Support does not offer subscription pauses. However, in some cases, such as device loss or critical inability to use the service, users may receive a goodwill credit (e.g., a complimentary free month). This is provided solely at the discretion of the support team. To discuss whether you are eligible for this, contact Fieldy Support directly.
Switching Between Platforms (Google Play and Apple App Store)
If you are moving from an Android device to an iPhone or vice versa, you can continue using your existing Fieldy subscription without any impact on app functionality. However, subscriptions are not transferable between platforms. To switch platforms:
Cancel your current subscription on the original platform (e.g., Google Play or Apple App Store).
Purchase a new subscription on the new platform.
Important Notes:
Canceling your subscription on one platform does not automatically transfer it to another.

If you wish to switch your Fieldy subscription plan (e.g., from monthly to yearly), the process depends on the platform through which you subscribed. Below are the steps for Google Play:
Open the Google Play Store app.

Navigate to Payments & subscriptions.
Select Subscriptions.
Choose your Fieldy subscription.

Important Notes:
Billing, cancellations, and refunds are handled by the respective app store (Google Play or Apple App Store).
