To see your conversations on both your mobile and desktop devices, you need to be logged into the exact same account. If your conversations aren't appearing, you might have accidentally created a new account on your desktop.
Common Cause: Used "Sign in with Apple" to create account in mobile app
If you used the "Sign in with Apple" option on our mobile app, Apple might have created a unique, private email address for you to protect your privacy. This address usually ends in @privaterelay.appleid.com
.
The problem happens when you then try to log into our desktop app using your actual Apple ID email (e.g., yourname@icloud.com
). This action creates a second, empty account that isn't connected to your mobile data.
How to Access Your Account
To see all your conversations, you simply need to log into the desktop app using the specific @privaterelay.appleid.com
address that Apple created for our app.
Here’s how to find that email address:
Method 1: In the Fieldy App (Easiest)
Open the Fieldy app on your phone.
Go to Settings.
The email address listed there is the correct one to use for logging in on your desktop.
Method 2: In your iPhone/iPad Settings
Open the Settings app on your device.
Tap your name at the very top.
Go to iCloud > Hide My Email.
Find our app in the list to see the unique email address assigned to it.
Final Step: Logging in on Your Desktop
Once you have your unique
@privaterelay.appleid.com
email, log out of the desktop app.Log back in using that specific private relay email.
You will be asked to enter a one-time password (OTP) that is sent to your email. This message will be forwarded to your real Apple ID inbox.
Important: If you don't see the OTP email, please check your Spam or Junk folder.
