I got a black screen when trying to use V3.

There is a switch inside the HEADSET jack of the FIFINE V3 capture card. Please try finding a long and thin item, such as a toothpick or a card pin (commonly used for cell phones), to press down the switch inside the HEADSET jack.

How do I connect the V3 capture card to OBS?

What should you prepare:

FIFINE V3, one XLR cable(included), two HDMI cable(not included), PS5 console

How to connect:

  1. Connect the V3 capture card to your PC by the included USB cable.

  2. Plug the USB connector into the USB 3.0 port on the motherboard(Blue or cyan port).

  3. Connect the V3 capture card with the PS5 by the HDMI cable(Not included).

  4. Plug one end into the HDMI port of the PS5, plug the other end into the "HDMI IN" port on the V3.

  5. Connect the V3 capture card with the monitor by another HDMI cable(Not included).

  6. Plug one end into the HDMI port of the monitor, plug the other end into the "HDMI OUT" port on the V3.

  7. You can also connect an external audio input device, which supports a 3.5 mm audio port as an auxiliary sound source

Set up on OBS

  1. Double-click the "Video Capture Device." Choose "FIFINE Video Capture" as your capture device.

  2. Select "Output desktop audio(DirectSound)" on Audio Output Mode.

  3. Click the "Use custom audio device". Choose "Digital Audio Interface(FIFINE audio capture)" as your audio device.

No Audio coming from the PC?

Choose β€œSound” settings on Windows, click β€œPlayback”, and choose the correct output device you used. Then choose the "Digital Audio Interface" in the "Recording" tab. Double-click it and click the "Listen to this device" in the "Listen" tab
