How to set it up on Win11 to make sure it is working after connecting it to your computer?

  1. Open the "Sound Settings", the audio settings of the computer system.

  2. Select "More Sound Settings" and open it.

  3. Click the "Recording" and select "Fifine Microphone" as the input device.

  4. Try to control the mic input level, which is only controlled by the gain knob on the mic, not by the computer or any software.

  5. If the mic is ready to use, the volume meter bounces when you talk to the mic.

  6. Start recording!

What is the threading of the microphone mount? And can it be attached to a boom arm?

The thread size of the pivot mount is standard 5/8". To attach the mic onto a scissor arm stand with a 3/8" threading, you need to screw the 3/8" to 5/8" adapter that comes with the arm stand package to the mic mount. The installation demo is below.

How do I connect my microphone to my PS5?

  1. Check the device compatibility of your mic. The Fifine A6V Microphone is compatible with the PS5.

  2. Plug the microphone into the PS5 using a USB cable and set Fifine A6V as the input device. At this point, Fifine A6V is named as "USB Headset (fifine Microphone)."

  3. Adjust the input lever on "Adjust Microphone Level" in the PS5 or the gain knob on the microphone.

  4. Choose the output device you need to use. If you only hear the monitor sound and didn't hear the game audio, check whether the "output to headset" is set as"Voice Chat Audio". If it's, select the "All Audio" option.

  5. If A6V doesn't work on the PS5, please upgrade the PS5 system to the latest version, then restart the PS5 to test again.

  6. If the disconnect issue continues, try to test the mic with another USB cable(with data transmission function) or plug the mic into another USB port on the PS5.
