The Costume Designer helps you create AI-assisted costume concepts tailored to your characters. Start with the main style based on your script analysis, then customise each look by setting budgets, adding creative prompts, and generating additional costumes for specific scenes.
After your script has been analysed, you’ll see a list of characters detected by AI. Please note that costumes are not fully generated at this stage, you'll need to complete the costume generation by filling in a quick form.
Start by selecting a character to begin working on their costume. You’ll need to finalise the main style first, as it serves as the base for any additional costumes. Click on the character, open the menu (three dots) and select "Edit Costume". You will have to "Complete Character Details" first to be able to edit the main style.
In the form, you can view and update character details. Click on the tag with the arrow to expand and edit character information. Don’t forget to save your changes before moving forward.
You’ll also be asked to set a budget range (minimum and maximum values) to ensure the costume stays within your limits.
To personalise the design, you can add an extra prompt, a short description or vision, to help guide the AI in generating a more tailored look. Once you're ready, click "Generate Costume". Each costume generation uses three credits from your account. You’ll see a system notification in the bottom-right corner showing how many costume generations are left for the character.
Need more generations? You can always purchase additional credits.
The result will include a short costume description, main colours, a sneak peek image, a detailed costume breakdown, helping you align the design with both the script and your budget. You can edit costume requirements (e.g., budget range or prompts) at any time.
Working with Additional Costumes
If the script mentions multiple outfits for a character, due to location changes or scene requirements, these will appear under Additional Costumes. You can finalise them just like the main style by selecting "Edit Costume" from the menu (three dots).
If no additional costumes are detected, you can create your own by clicking "Create New Costume", select the scene and name the costume.
A form will appear for you to fill out and generate the look.
Your custom designs will be saved in the Additional Costumes area.
N.B.: The costume can be exported from the main page, by clicking on three dots and proceeding to “Export Costume”.
N.B.: Keep an eye on the toast notification in the bottom-right corner when generating costumes. It will display how many credits were used and how many remain in your account.
