The Moodboard Generator lets you quickly create rich, AI-assisted visual references based on your script. You can start from a specific scene or generate a moodboard for your entire project.
For a Scene Moodboard, first, choose a scene from your script. The system will display associated tags such as Props, Make-up, SPFX, and more. All tags are selected by default, but you can expand each category and choose which elements you want the AI to focus on.
For a Script Moodboard, tags are not required, so you can skip this step.
Next, review the autogenerated synopsis and add any additional notes. These can include details about the scene, tone, characters, or other creative directions you want the AI to consider.
Then, define the moodboard style by selecting from abstract, realistic or illustration. And choose one of the three pre-defined colour palettes: neon, warm, or cold to set the overall tone and feel of the visuals.
If you have a visual reference, you can upload an image to help guide the generation. Use the fidelity slider to decide how closely the generated images should match your reference.
5. Once everything is set, the FilmTailor AI will generate a moodboard containing four images, tailored to your selected tags and style. Each moodboard generation uses twelve credits from your account.
6. Your new moodboard will be saved automatically in your Recents section. If you’re happy with the result, click the "Export" button to save it as a PNG or JPG file on your computer.
N.B.: Remember to do the script breakdown for each scene to be able to work on the moodboards for separate categories and tags. You will not be able to edit tags and customise them for the moodbaords unless the script breakdown is done.
N.B.: Keep an eye on the toast notification in the bottom-right corner when generating moodboards. It will display how many credits were used and how many remain in your account.
