Connecting Apple Health allows Edge to automatically sync your steps and active energy - giving you more accurate progress tracking and smarter personalisation in your training.

Here’s how to get it set up in just a few quick steps:

✅ Step 1: Open the Apple Health App

  • Open the Health app on your iPhone (white icon with a red heart)

  • Tap your profile icon in the top-right corner

✅ Step 2: Go to “Apps” under Privacy

  • Scroll down to the Privacy section

  • Tap Apps

  • Select Edge from the list

✅ Step 3: Enable Data Permissions for Edge

  • Make sure the following permissions are toggled ON:

    • 🔥 Active Energy

    • 👟 Steps

This allows Edge to read and use your data for personalising your plan and displaying metrics in your dashboard.

🔁 Can’t See Edge in the Health App?

If Edge doesn’t appear under Apps:

  1. Open the Edge app

  2. Go to Settings → Integrations

  3. Tap Connect Apple Health

You’ll then see a permissions prompt from Apple Health. Once accepted, Edge should appear in the Health app and you can follow the steps above.

ℹ️ Why Connecting Apple Health Matters

We use this data to:

  • Track your daily step count

  • Understand your overall activity levels

  • Tailor your training based on real-life movement, not assumptions

This helps us adjust your plan more intelligently as you go.
