If you use a Garmin watch and want to follow your Edge workouts from your wrist, you can now sync them directly with Garmin Connect. It takes just a minute to set up, and once it is connected, sending sessions is super easy.

No more copying workouts by hand. Just tap, sync and go.

Step 1: Connect Edge to Garmin

Before you can send workouts, you need to link your Edge app with Garmin Connect.

Here is how:

  1. Open the Edge app

  2. Tap your Profile

  3. Go to Connected Apps

  4. Select Garmin Connect

  5. Log in and follow the prompts to connect your account

Make sure you have the Garmin Connect app installed and that your watch is already paired with your phone via Bluetooth.

Step 2: Send your workout to Garmin

Once you are connected, you can send any scheduled Edge workout straight to Garmin.

  1. Open your workout in the Edge app

  2. Tap the share icon in the bottom right corner

  3. Choose Share to Garmin

  4. Tap Yes and that is it - your session is on the way to Garmin.

You will see the workout show up in the Training section inside Garmin Connect

Step 3: Start your workout from your Garmin

Now just sync your Garmin watch and get ready to go:

  1. Sync with Garmin Connect (this usually happens automatically)

  2. Open Workouts or Training Plans on your watch

  3. Find the Edge workout you sent

  4. Press Start and follow the session from your wrist

Why link Edge with Garmin

  • Follow your sessions step by step from your watch

  • No need to copy or type anything in

  • Use Garmin stats alongside Edge insights to track your progress
