What to write today
Today, you're writing the debate [10,000–11,667 words]:
Establish the consequences of success and the consequences of failure. Both will be important to motivate your protagonist.
Something changes for your protagonist, and they realise that they cannot decline the call any longer. The thing that changes must make it personal for them.
This thing that changes for them is called plot point 1, and you would have already foreshadowed this on day 1.
Want a different sort of prompt? Look up the lyrics of the last song you listened to. Use the lyrics from the fourth line of that song as your prompt for today (mine is: "They say looks can kill and I might try") 🎶
Update your running editorial note
At the end of the day make a note of any off-course deviations, potential inconsistencies, areas to research further, or moments of inspiration to revisit when you edit in December/January.
