Once you've approved a timesheet, you can rate the worker. It takes a few seconds and it's worth doing. You'll rate them on five things: punctuality, documentation, safety, effectiveness, and care.
Ratings do real work. Other care homes see them when deciding who to approve, so a good rating helps a good worker get more shifts. It also feeds into who we recommend to you in future.
If the manager on duty wasn't there for the whole shift, ask the staff who worked alongside them before you rate. A rating based on nothing helps nobody.
Be honest, including when it's positive. If someone was excellent, say so. Workers can see their ratings, and it's often the only feedback they get.
If something went genuinely wrong, don't just leave a low rating and move on. Tell us at partners.ca@florenceapp.com so we can look into it properly. A rating on its own doesn't tell us what happened.
If someone is very good, you can favourite them. Your favourite workers can be offered your shifts first, which is the simplest way to build a regular team.
