How to Add Attachments to a Work Order with the AI Assistant

Updated this week

Attach photos, documents, or other files to a work order using file upload or the live stream camera.

Using file upload

  1. Open the AI Assistant from the work order detail page.

  2. Upload a file (PDF, image, document) using the file upload button.

  3. Tell the assistant to attach it to the work order β€” or if you're already on the work order page, the assistant attaches it automatically.

Using live stream to capture and attach photos

  1. From the work order detail page, tap the Live Stream button.

  2. Your camera opens. Capture photos of the issue, the repair, parts used, or anything relevant.

  3. While capturing photos, narrate what you're seeing β€” the assistant transcribes your notes.

  4. Hit Submit. All photos are uploaded as attachments to the work order, and any verbal instructions are processed as updates.

What you can say

  • "Attach this photo to the work order."

  • "I'm uploading the vendor's signed proposal β€” attach it to WO 4200."

Tips

  • The live stream is ideal for technicians on mobile. You can capture multiple photos and talk through your update in one session.

  • Photos and voice notes are submitted together, so the work order gets both the visual documentation and the status update at the same time.
