This resource is ideal for fleet managers or maintenance personnel looking to streamline their operations and enhance vehicle longevity. Viewing this guide will save time and improve efficiency in managing vehicle upkeep.

Head on over to your Equipment Module.

2. In the Equipment Module select PM Schedules.

3. Then in the top right corner Click "Create PM Schedule"

4. Start by naming your PM in the PM Subject field.

You can assign the PM Schedule now or use category automations to assign the generated work order.

You can also add a category.

Other optional fields are estimated hours, priority, estimated material cost. You can chose to add these now or later.

5. Under the "Generate Work Order" section is where setting this type of PM schedule up will differ from your time based PMs, instead of choosing a time frame you will choose a unit, such as Miles.

6. Once you have selected your unit make sure to choose a threshold.

In this example we are setting up a Mileage based PM that will trigger a Oil Change work order every 3,000 miles logged for a fleet vehicle.

7. After you have selected your Unit and Threshold you can use the Account and then Location selections to find the Vehicle/ Equipment you are setting the PM up for or directly head to the Equipment Drop down and find it there.

8. After making your selection you can add more details to your PM.

9. Click this field.

10. Click here.

11. You can add a description that will be on the work order, manually create a check list for the work order or add one from your template library.

These are all optional items.

12. Click "Update" once you are satisfied with the set up to save all your changes.

You can always come back and edit this even after the first work order has triggered.

13. You have officially created your first Meter Based PM!

You can now duplicate this PM for other metered equipment, just be sure to select a different piece of equipment or vehicle and renaming the copy.

14. You can find all of your Time and Meter based PMs in the table view.
