How To Verify Digital Ads

Instructions for manually verifying digital ads for national buyers

Website ads are the only product that does not require the publisher to submit verification images. All national digital ads are run through the Flytedesk Digital Script Tag. Flytedesk Digital is the tool we use to install the flytedesk premium digital units or connect your Ad Shop to your website.

Automated Verifications:

  • If you have installed the Flytedesk Digital script tag, your verifications are automated and you won't need to grab screenshots or metrics for the digital ad.

  • If you have not installed the Flytedesk Digital script tag, click here to start automating digital ad placements and revenue.

Note: We can not book digital units for national campaigns without the flytedesk script tag. Publishers must have the script tag installed in order to receive ads for their digital units.

Manual Verifications (Only for Adshop users):

To verify digital ads manually:

  1. Upload a screenshot of the ad on your website to the verifications page of your account within 1 day of posting

  2. Submit impressions & clicks on the day after the ad is done running.

  • Return to your verifications page, click '+' to open the verification.

  • Enter impressions & clicks in the designated fields. Do not leave any fields blank. (Ex: If the post has no comments, enter the number 0)

  • Optionally, enter any additional information about the ad in the "description" field.

If your website does not support digital ad impression and click tracking, let us know as soon as possible.
