Okta Account and IT set up
On Your Phone:
Step 1: Set Password in Okta
On your mobile device (iOS or Android), open your email and find the welcome email from Okta.
Follow the instructions in the email to set your password. Remember this password, as you will use it to access various services.
Step 2: Set up Okta Verify
Download the Okta Verify App: On your mobile device, go to the App Store (for iPhone) or the Google Play Store (for Android). Search for "Okta Verify" and download the app.
Enroll your account: Once logged in, you will be prompted to enroll in Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA). Select "Setup" next to Okta Verify.
Follow the on screen instructions: Use the email link.
Finish Setup: Okta Verify will add your account, you may need to click "Next" or "Finish" to complete the enrollment process in the Okta portal.
On Your Computer:
Step 3: Install the Island Browser
Download the Island Application by visiting the following link:
Login using your Foodsmart Okta Credentials.
Follow the prompts to download and Install Island and Open the App.
Click the “Start Using Island” button in the middle of the page.
Login to Island using your Okta ID (first.last@foodsmart.com).
Can I access Okta outside of the US
Because of security and compliance settings from our contracts, RDs are unable to access our platforms (including Okta) outside of the United States.
Do I have to Okta verify every time I login
Yes
