How to know if a food is eligible

Updated over 3 weeks ago

Eligible items will say “FreshFunds” the name of the product/item.

Does Foodsmart update what is eligible to be bought with Foodsmart Bucks?

Periodically, categories are updated and eligible items available to use with Foodsmart Bucks (Fresh Funds) in that category can change. As it is not a list of individual items being approved, but a category, individual items cannot be updated/added individually. Only whole categories that the plan policy chooses can be added. Items can be restricted inside of a category by a plan policy to limit what is eligible.

EXAMPLE:
Bakery and Dairy categories are limited
The entire category of Bakery or Dairy is not eligible per the plan policy restrictions.
