  • Delivering 1 million meals for free – supporting 300+ Project DASH food bank partners nationwide in November.

  • Waiving delivery and service fees for an estimated 300,000 grocery orders for SNAP recipients at Sprouts, Dollar General, Schnucks, Food Lion, Giant Foods, The GIANT Company, Hannaford, Stop & Shop, Hy-Vee, Giant Eagle, and Wegmans.

Gopuff is committing up to $10 million in total relief, offering $50 worth of groceries for free – broken into two $25 credits during the month of November – to customers who have a SNAP EBT card connected to their Gopuff account, or who add their SNAP EBT card. The national relief effort is designed to provide quick, seamless access to groceries for families who will suddenly lose essential food aid.

Here’s how SNAP recipients can access the Gopuff program, which will run in two distinct waves:

  • Add a SNAP EBT card to your Gopuff account (how to). No action needed if you already have a SNAP card added to your account.

  • New and nearly new children’s items are collected through grassroots community drives and corporate donations.

  • Donations are then processed and packaged by volunteers in our warehouse, The Giving Factory.

The WIC Farmers Market Nutrition Program (FMNP) WIC Farmers Market Nutrition Program is associated with WIC. Eligible WIC participants are issued FMNP coupons in addition to their regular WIC benefits. These coupons can be used to buy eligible foods from farmers, farmers markets or roadside stands that have been approved by the state agency to accept FMNP coupons.

However, as many of us know firsthand, cancer treatment presents a real barrier to both, especially when you add in unaffordability to the mix. Lifelong / Chicken Soup Brigade - Food & Nutrition — Lifelong

Lifelong’s Food & Nutrition program, Chicken Soup Brigade, delivers healthy, home-cooked meals and nutritious groceries right to your door. Meals are made on-site, from scratch, using whole food ingredients. We support people’s overall health by focusing on the importance of nutrition as part of someone’s care. Food and nutrition can reduce the symptoms and daily impact of many illnesses, minimize medication side effects, and provide comfort when it is needed most.

Grace Klein Community - Providing food to those in Birmingham, Alabama and surrounding areas - Volunteers are mobilized from 6am-11pm 7 days a week, to retrieve good food from local restaurants, grocers, cafes, catering companies, farmers, and anywhere else where we can find good food.

Muslim Resource Center - Muslim Resource Center (MRC) has welcomed low-income IL residents by offering them complimentary services to meet their basic needs. Most visitors first come to utilize the MRC food pantry, and from there, they are connected to other services. After a short meeting with a trained food pantry volunteer, they are given a grocery in a pre-package box. Clients select the types of food their family eats, depending on health issues, culture and taste.   • Elk Grove Township - Food Pantry - Elk Grove Township - The Township offers a variety of free programs and services to help residents regain control of their lives and achieve self-sufficiency. Learn more about the many valuable resources available. The Elk Grove Township Food Pantry is a “clients choice” pantry, which means individuals are allowed to choose the items they prefer. Visits are offered by appointment. All Elk Grove Township residents are invited to use the pantry. All you need is a valid food pantry card. If you are a new client, please arrive at least 15 minutes early and bring with you a current utility bill and photo ID.

The pantry offers a wide variety of dry goods as well as fresh produce, dairy and meat products, household items, and essential personal items. Households of four (4) or more are encouraged to use the pantry (the maximum number of allotted visits is two times per month) to ensure every family has an adequate amount of food and any necessary household items. Households of three (3) or less are allotted one (1) visit per month.

Dion’s Chicago Dream - Dion's Chicago Dream - Helping feed families, create community, and fuel hope. Dion’s Chicago Dream is a Chicago-based nonprofit dedicated to promoting health equity and fighting food insecurity through “nutritional philanthropy.” Its key programs include Dream Deliveries, which provides weekly fresh produce boxes to households; the Dream Vault, a locker-based pickup system for pre-packed food boxes; and the Dream Fridge, offering free produce and water to the community.
