Where to Find Patient ID?

Under members name on the visit information page.

Where are the member notes?

Member notes can be viewed on the member's Foodsmart.com account after the RD closes and submits the chart to billing.

What Does the member note look like?

The member will click on past appointments after they log into their Foodsmart account and see their note from the RD.

How To Access The NutriQuiz or Risk Assessment

Find links to NutriQuiz or Risk Assessment from FFD

  • Click into the appointment and select OPEN

  • From the LINKS area you'll see Take NutriQuiz

    • For CalOptima patients, the Risk Assessment results will also appear here

How Do I Complete A Task

Appointments showing in Red on your calendar in FFD will indicate that attention is required by you to complete the appointment

Incomplete appointments will show in Red on your calendar

  • Find the corresponding appointment in the Task list on the right

  • Click into the Task to see the details that need your attention

  • Move to Athena to review the visit and close it out correctly

  • Return to FFD to confirm the visit no longer appears on your Task list

The open Tasks section of FFD indicates any open or incomplete visits that require action from you.

Completing Tasks within the specified timeframe will ensure that we can submit claims on time and that you are paid accurately and on time.

  • Tasks (incomplete visits) must be checked out within 12 hours of the appointment or the system will close them out as a No Show appointment

How to edit billing units

RDs will be able to edit billing information on a closed chart within 72 hours of the visit start time

  1. Open Session Details in a post closed chart

  2. Click on Request Billing Edit

3. Complete Request Billing edit form

4. Click on Submit

5. Request Submitted

How long do I have to complete a chart?

You have 12 hours from the start of the visit to complete the charting notes and submit billing.

Quick Facts About Charting

  • Instead of Macros please copy and paste into the FFD chart

  • Past Athena (our old EMR) patient summaries will be viewed in FFD Visit History section (bottom right of member overview page) and information can be copied into the new FFD chart

  • The charts will not auto-populate from previous charts. Please use the copy and paste function

  • Please enter Program Enrollment Information into the Intervention Box

  • If you would like to add extra lab values or medications please enter this information into the the general note box

  • Handouts are coming soon! In the meantime, please share handouts over Zoom
