An event banner (sometimes called a countdown banner), allows brands to add countdown timers and live event information to their sites. It is our recommendation to test out event banners in the brand's Verso Settings staging environment before implementing any changes in Production. Before implementing an event banner, first confirm its purpose. If there is no clear CTA, consider whether a banner is the best approach or if alternative channels, such as a newsletter, may be more appropriate.
