Got a few gaps in your schedule? With Squeeze, you can turn tables twice by offering a shorter reservation duration.
For example, if your standard lunch duration is 120 minutes, but you know you can offer a good experience in 90 minutes it's a win-win if you offer Squeeze:
The guest can still make a reservations and knows upfront there will be an end time to the reservation
You get to turn your tables more often when you have gaps in your planning
You can decide per Shift whether you want to work with Squeeze or not, as this might be a feature that you do want to use for your regular lunch and dinner reservations, but not for your Private Dining, for example.
Good to know before you start
If you offer Squeezed reservations, guests are informed about this throughout the booking process. They'll see how long they'll have the table during booking, in the confirmation email and in the reminder email.
βSqueeze options are only shown in the widget when all regular reservation slots are fully booked.
How to set up Squeeze
In FRANK, go to Manage β Shifts.
Select the Shift you want to enable Squeeze for.
In the left menu, go to Seating.
Before you set up the Squeeze duration, check the standard duration (e.g. 180 minutes) - your Squeeze always has to be shorter than the Standard seating duration.
Set the Squeezed reservation time under Squeeze duration.
For example: if your standard duration is 180 minutes, you can set a Squeeze duration of 120 minutes or maybe even 90 minutes.
6. Optionally, you can choose to squeeze to a fixed end time. This can be useful, for example, when you fill tables towards the end of your Shift.

Tip! Use Squeeze especially on busy evenings or between early and late Shifts. It helps you make the most of every seat without making guests feel rushed.
