Need to close on a day that is normally open? You can remove a shift for a specific date without affecting the rest of the schedule.
This is useful when you want to close for a public holiday, private event, staff outing, maintenance work, or any other one-time occasion.
When is this useful?
You are normally open on a certain day but want to close for a public holiday.
The restaurant is reserved for a private event.
You need to close temporarily for maintenance or renovations.
You want to remove a shift for a single date without changing the recurring schedule.
How to remove a shift for a specific day
Go to Manage → Shifts.
Open the Grid View.
Click on the shift on the specific date you would like to remove.
Click the three dots in the top-right corner.
Select Delete.
The shift will be removed for the selected date only.
Example
Your restaurant is normally open every Monday, but you would like to close on a specific Monday due to a private event. Open the shift for that date in the Grid View, click the three dots, and select Delete. The shift will be removed for that day while the rest of your schedule remains unchanged.
