National holiday, special occasion, or a well-deserved team vacation — sometimes your restaurant just needs a break. With FRANK, you can easily make sure guests can’t book on those days.
Two ways to close your restaurant:
1. From the Reservations Overview
In the Reservation Overview, click Open (or Closed) in the bottom right corner.
Set the period you want to close your restaurant.
Optionally, add a calendar message so guests see a clear notice.
If needed, set an area limit to restrict the number of guests in a specific area (note: this is not a daily limit for the entire restaurant).
Don’t forget to click Save.
2. From the Shifts Overview
Go to Manage → Shifts
Click on Special & Closed days at the top
Click + Special & Closed days to add one or more days on which your restaurant is closed.
Select a color to keep things organized.
Choose how long you want to remain closed.
Add a calendar message here too, so guests are informed. Don't forget to fill in all languages if you use a multi-language widget.
Set an area limit if necessary.
Click Save to confirm your changes.
