Follow these steps to set up your EarthRover with a WiFi connection:
1: Prepare the Bot
Remove the SIM card from your EarthRover.
Power on the bot by holding the power button for about 5–8 seconds.
2. Connect to FrodoBots WiFi
On your phone, go to WiFi settings.
Look for a network named frodobots_XX and connect to it using the password: 12345678
3: Access the Configuration Page
Open a browser on your phone and go to: http://192.168.11.1/engineering
4: Enter Your Home WiFi Details
In the SSID field, enter your home's WiFi network name.
In the Password field, enter your home's WiFi password.
After submitting the details, wait a few moments.
5: Confirm Connection
Your bot will connect once the WiFi light turns green.
Important Notes:
EarthRover Zero supports only 2.4GHz WiFi (not 5GHz).
Mini and Mini+ support both 2.4GHz and 5GHz WiFi.
