When you first unbox your EarthRover, youâll need to assemble and activate it before you can start driving. Follow this guide step by step.
Step 1: Assemble Your EarthRover
Before activation, your robot must be fully assembled. View the guide on how to assemble.
Step 2: Choose Your Activation Method
You can activate your EarthRover using 4G (recommended) or Wi-Fi. The setup process is similar, but the way your bot connects to the internet will differ.
Option A: Activate with 4G (Recommended)
Insert a 4G SIM card with an active data plan and no PIN lock.
Once inserted, follow the 4G Activation Guide.

Option B: Activate with Wi-Fi
Remove the SIM card (Wi-Fi will not work if a SIM is inserted).
Connect your EarthRover to a Wi-Fi network instead.
